ELECTRICAL HV ENGINEER
ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY
GLASGOW or WARRINGTON

We are looking for an established Electrical Engineer to support the electrical control and instrumentation teams based in Glasgow and Warrington.

The role will include EHV/HV electrical distribution system design, Electrical power system design (offshore and onshore), Electrical protection design, Grid code compliance, wind/offshore distribution systems and Electrical power system analysis using IPSA, Amtech.

To succeed as Electrical HV Engineer, you will possess a strong technical background with solid electrical design experience. The ideal candidate would be an established electrical engineer looking to move into project and commercial management whilst remaining in a core technical role.

Qualified with a strong degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline, you may also have experience of 17th Edition design and should possess excellent written communication skills and be familiar with working to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.

This role requires SC Clearance so you must be either a British Citizen who has been living in the UK for the last 3 years minimum or of another nationality who has been living in the UK continuously for the last 5 years minimum.

You will be joining a very successful and highly respected Engineering Consultancy who provide innovative, high quality engineering services to a range of major engineering projects, serving government, regulatory, Blue Chip and a wide range of private sector clients across the world.
