An opportunity has arisen for a Tender Manager to join the Business Development and Marketing Team. Reporting directly to the Business Development and Marketing Director this role will manage the whole of the tender process to include:
Pre-tender
• Collate and categorise all existing tenders and capability documents
• Be the liaison person for all information relating to potential tender opportunities and scanning the market place for such opportunities
• Analysis of the return on investment for all tenders
• Create and maintain tender alert database for prospective tenders
• Create an historical database to enable swift construction of draft tenders and capability documents
Tender Stage
• Take the lead role with the lawyer sponsor in preparing the documents, co-ordinating and obtaining input from all relevant internal sources
• Manage the process in getting the tender/capability document submitted
• Assist in preparing presentations
Post-tender
• To manage contracts including project administration
o Help the lawyer sponsor manage the contract post tender in relation to setting up processes for regular reviews with client
The successful candidate will have background knowledge in the legal or professional services, possess excellent project management, planning and organizational skills. They will have the ability to package proposals addressing unique selling points and pricing. Communication skills are a prerequisite with the ability to communicate and articulate effectively to management, clients and partners.
